People are chasing the idea of being rich not wealthy

There has been so many “quick rich scams” and they end up with so many victims who suffers great loss of their investments. Many people can count close to a hand but some can even double the hands counting places they have lost investments in. Maybe it how scammers sell their deal to people, maybe it how they understand the hunger of getting rich, or maybe it us, victims, the fact that we’ve been so hungry for so long in a way that we drooling on the bone of getting rich that we jump without any considerations. Personally, I think we underestimate our capabilities, we do not know the power of what, little we have, can do for us. I believe when we think of money we become greedy, we want it all and leave nothing behind and in many cases if we could, the next person coming behind us should get absolutely nothing.
But haven’t we learnt this already? Haven’t we been here before or we just cannot learn from anyone’s mistakes but ours? There is a vast difference between being rich ad being wealthy and I am certain one involves living in harmony. I know, somewhere in our righteous heads, we are chasing wealth but only being sold rich. One man decides to open a table selling pocket of chips and few months later he’s got more than one packets and he has added more products. Because he understands the power of little he gets, in just few years, he opens a supermarkets. Another example of a man who start out selling peanuts in trains, through which he develop himself and few years later he becomes a radio DJ who now owns his Communications company. I bet we all know the stories but we will not believe them because they are so good to be true. Often a story of a successful man is believed to be bogus and people prefer a suffering man to tell his story of pain, heart breaks, rejects and hunger.

Truth of the matter is, I have seen a black man who has been hungry and suddenly there is lot of money in his pocket. One can actually say at that moment “all hell break lose”. When suddenly you are inheritance of some money, you did plan for it and did not earn it, it becomes easy to lose it in a flash. But when at that moment you plan correctly you will find the ability of living a wealthy man than a person who has more money because having more means that it will eventually become less. Wealth accumulation can start little by little, along the way you learning how to manage your money, you understand how hard it has been earned. Learning to live in harmony with the idea of having more money and being able to sustain that living maybe we can count you with the wealthy families. But having more money does not mean wealthy, the idea varies with individuals perceptions. If you follow your dreams and what you really want and what you believe in, that the wealthy to stay with you for a long time. Chase happiness, believe in your dreams, battle for justified justice and live a wealthy life if you have built it.

Breaking chains that holds us back

 Facebook page
Breaking chains that holds us back, breaking all the ties that stops you from moving forward, identifying and grabbing the opportunity is what necessary and it’s what Youth should practice. Breaking societal rules is not allowed, as communities we all need these rules to live together in harmony. But what if all these rules are holding us back? What if the path created ahead of you isn't the one you intend on walking? What if your path exists beyond the boundaries and through which you can see the light?
Sibusiso Mbhele the Author of a book called “Why Sit There Till You die” has mentioned something powerful in the review of his book as thus:
We are all created with greatness within us but there are things which we surrender our potential to. Some of these things appear to be the most valuable things we cannot live without. Only to find they eat the core of our existence to an extent that getting rid of is hard. There are people around us who are defined as friends, love-ones, colleagues, family, business partners, team mates and etc. who does not add any value in our lives but take most of our precious time. Even though we realise that but it’s not easy to make decisions which will hurt them. (2015)
Every day we battle sameness as youth and we never want to grow out of it. Let look at how one youth at an early age of 23 years old Sandile Shezi has become South Africa’s youngest millionaire through forex trading. Looking at the opportunity, Sandile took all his tuition fee and invested it in forex trading. We not saying take your tuition and start trading with it, but we saying taking a risk to change your life for the batter is not a crime. Understanding the circumstances of the risks we take will help us pave a way through to fix the rules we broken. Understanding that eventually the tuition money will be asked back, Sandile has worked hard to make sure that his non-conforming behavior is replaced by something better.
Another example of people who broke the society rules was Jamie McIntyre and he is the Author of a number of publications including “leadership lessons we can learn from Nelson Mandela”, the famous “Wolf of Wall-street”. Jamie has been sent to university where he skipped the collage and went to teach himself how to be rich. He has believed on his philosophy and he wanted to make sure people are being taught how to be rich. He is a self-made millionaire and now he travels the world teaching people things we supposed to have learnt from school “how to be rich”. He has opened up a school that only teach people how to be rich and everyday his passion and his persistence to non-conformity is changing lives every day.
There is an endless list of people who broke the rules to better themselves, now they changing communities. Again we have list of people who has broken the rules and are in jail serving their unlawful behavior. Breaking societal rules is a very hard decision, it has to be done for the greater of goodwill so that we do not wait for the sun in a rainy day. Everyday our society is lining us into different rules and in many cases what we line up for is never what we looking for. People who has changed the world never compromised what they believed and instead they've tried after so many rejections still they tried again, and they broken so many rules. There is a famous saying that says it not about how many times we fall but it about getting up after we have fallen.
Historians confirms that a guy who invented light had to try hundred times and eventually there was a speed of light. Dr Nelson Mandela stayed in prison for twenty seven years for the freedom he has envisioned for his country. Another example we should learn from is how sportsmen do… They train from early morning till dusk for one tournament and when they do not win, they go back to training over and over again. There so many adventures one can battle on, so many roads one can take and truth be told, sky is the only limit.

A journey to a thousand mile can only begin with a single step. Sandile Shezi has paved the way for you, Jamie McIntyre has done it, Dr Nelson Mandela has done it and many more has been through this road and they did not compromise what they believed in. Maybe when you think of something and the second thought cross your mind, you’ll just take your first thought and go with it. Sometimes it the chance we take that better ourselves and the country we live in. You have been stuck in the same job for more than ten years or you still going to be in this very same job for the next ten years. Everything you ever hoped and believed in will be stuck in this very same chair with you and they will die first before you do. Here is the mere fact of life you can find it hard to believe, “we are born to change lives”. If Dr Nelson Mandela was selfish and did not take risks do you think South Africa will have seen 1994 the way we did? If Sandile did not take his chances, he’d be stuck in that office like you, with his dreams flying away through the day in his mind and there would be no one teaching people how to make wealth through forex. Even Jamie lived his life in a corner box, followed the rules until he realized these rules are not in line with what he want to achieve. Now be my guest GO AHEAD AND DO SOMETHING!!!

Thingo Media (PTy) Ltd  is a private company that organize events, Shoot videos for different events.
It is under directorate leadership of Xolani Richard Jama with the purpose to create a platform that will sweep youth off the street, with the idea to open a platform for youth to battle their talent, skills, visions and mission to success.

The majority of South African youth are unemployed and a number of which are skilled youth who are graduates and a number of these youth are also without skills, some unemployable.

I was reading a newspaper the other day and the headlines went “Telkom has doubled CEO remunerations” and in a different story the headline went “Telkom want to let go 20 percent of their staff”. This become an alert that all the jobs we running towards, is a matter of time before we are all let go and I hope all youth reads newspapers and see on how the jobs are lost. If the stigma of finding jobs can be changed into creating jobs we will be much better as a country than as individuals

It is with noting that youth is highly affected mostly by the surrounding, and often the choices are influenced by their background. One child can escape home without an inspiration or a reason to dream big, but it is bound to find it in the community, at school, in friends, strangers and even in the crazy guy on the street. Truth is, we are born capable of dreaming but the choice we make on our way to adult hood affect our future and they can be indefinite.

A blunt example is that of two kids at school, when it time for English or whatever subject, one kid would skip that class and go join buddies in the toilet or back of school classes or skip the school through fence cut at the backyard of the school and stand at the corner of the supermarket and start smoking. This becomes a habit and the next thing you are in it for good and by the time you open your eyes the year is gone. And for the fact that there is no one checking your books at home you feel safe when you have failed your subjects…. But we all know most of us youth are from families that mostly go all year round without having paid all the school fees and if we come back home and say the result are not out, our parents will not investigate because they are busy trying to help make a living within the household. By the time you realise you have learnt how to make money yourself so you can buy a smoke and the next thing you skipping the whole day at school. You are now passed your school time and at home have noticed you no longer go to school but hey you can talk for yourself, so you win with back-talking but your family end up saying “we tried to give you bread for your future”. But the truth is is…. Yes they did try!!!

Whereas the other kid did not skip the class instead moved closer to the smartest person in the class and became friends with, come back home all the time having done all the works needed for the following day and mostly at times would come early in the morning and ask the smart kid to help and the next thing you see the year is gone and the kid is doing wonders at school.

These two kids from the same family but are bound to make choices differently and are to fight differently. One can judge families, friends, community for that matter but it all depends on the personal choices we take today that can affect us tomorrow. Another blunt example would be a child that has made a choice to engage in sex at an early stage and got pregnant… we all been told about the dangers of unprotected sex….. There’re chances of pregnancy, HIV, STI’s and STD’s but went on and made that choice. The next thing missing school having to raise the baby and by the time she open her eyes the baby father is gone... Where ever we go there are lessons to learn from e.g. more than 80 percent of young mothers that we know, are not with the (1st child) baby father.

You can still hang with people who smoke and escape as a none-smoker but the choice is picking up that cigarettes and start puffing, it picking up that glass with liquor and start drinking and the worst of all is replying to that craving feeling that makes you do it over and over again.

I have seen it happening to youth and every day you see youth in high schools escaping from their brighter future choosing endless suffering and needing. I have seen youth in township smoking and drinking their future away, and I have seen us settle for less. I have spoken to one of my friends whose dream is to live in a fancy one room at his home backyard “I want to make this room be the best in the neighborhood and bazongivuma (meaning they will salute me)”. The majority of the youth are chasing the employers to give jobs and we are so focus to that we do not see any other options.

Have spoken to a number of youth I met along the way entering an entrepreneurial department and the are all tired of living with just enough, some they tired of waiting for the jobs to come and some are tired of following an employer and they want to make their own dreams of successful businesses a reality and I said “yes”. And maybe there should be a subject of entrepreneurship in high schools because whether you want to be a model or an engineer you have that dream of starting your own business and that is exactly what South Africa needs at the moment…. Businesses that will uplift this economy.

I grew up listening to the saying that the richest place on earth is the grave yard…. And it recently sank into my mind when I heard of a passing of one of my University friend because of asthma and I thought to myself his grave is the richest soil on earth because he never stopped dreaming and his plan were practical heading to changing lives of many. So many people had dreams that were never implemented into reality, some had started to implement and to some they were in ripe stage and the holders of those dreams had to pass away. And we still have a chance to make changes and it start with the choices we make today….
